Help!!! Update

My best friend just called and she had her puppy rip open a bag of diatomaceous earth this morning.She isn't sure if he injested any of it,so she is worried about that and worried if it could hurt their feet at all and about them and her bird beathing it in.Any Ideas???

Dogs can eat the diatomatious earth, it will not harm them.. it actually helps clear out the intestinal parasites.   ALTHOUGH...it can cause respiratory discomfort due to the amount of dust.

I'm no expert, but as long as it's the food grade, they should be just fine.

Thank you both,I called both the dogs vet and the bird vet and they both said it shouldn't be a problem.
