All hail the mighty cream cheese!

Thank you so much BPO for suggesting I coat Sierra's pills in peanut butter and cream cheese.  She isn't too fond of peanut butter in general, but the cream cheese is a different story all together.  I was able to put 4 pills in one lump of cream cheese and she swallowed it without even tasting I think.  LOL!  I was able to give her 7 pills this morning in less than 2 minutes!  The hot dog trick took a good 10 minutes of coaxing.

Sierra usually does that.  Especially her fish oil pills - she loves those!  I was very suprised that she refused to take these.  At least I found something that works because she seems to feel so much better already.

See. I'm a reverse psychology kind of person. I cut Miles' glucosamine pills in half on the kitchen counter like it's for me, and I don't want him to have it. I walk out of the kitchen and pretend like I forgot I left it on the counter, and then he jumps up and gets it. As soon as he sees me, he swallows it whole. Works like a charm  . Although, with all the pills Miss Sierra has to take, I'm pretty sure it would take up the whole day!

I will definitely have to try the cream cheese thing with Maddox!  He won't take his benadryl in anything nowadays.  Glad you had success

wow, sounds like she is on alot of pills.  yeah, my guys would be tired of opening their mouths for that many too.

Keiko and Posey are one pills twice a day but I just pop them in their mouths and they are great at taking them.  On rare occasion Posey might spit one out but never happens on the second attempt.
