I got a new camera!!!

Hubby bought me a new camera today and I swear this thing is like binos on steroids! It is so cool! It is a Panasonic FZ18 Lumix. It was the display, plus they couldn't find the charger. So they gave us $100 off and $70 worth of equipment!
I can just imagine what I could get with some better lighting. It is dusk right now.

it means im way totally jealous! wow 18X zoom! thats awesome. i have a 12X optical and 5Xdigital. you get into the digital and it really looks terrible.  So WOW to your camera. and WOW great find Good hubby!

I had wished they had Rebels here... but alas they don't sell them. This was the best they had overall. But! I am really happy with it and can't wait for this weekend. It should be nice DH is leaving me alone with Mace and my son. He is taking the girls and the two other dogs camping.

I just bought a new camera as well, LOL, I bought a Nikon D40, it is and SLR digital camera, it has sooo many settings, now just to figure it all out.

It can take some really neat pictures though I got this one of Gages eyes the other day:

Great view you have! I just bought the new XSi two weeks ago its my first SLR and I'm having so much fun figuring it out. I'm guessing your in Europe where the Rebels are sold as the 350D=XT, 400D=XTi, 450D=XSi

We are up in the hills/mountains of western Germany. The winds coming through our valley are great for them. I have even seen hot air balloons come through. I think it is amazing since we aren't a big valley or anything.

I'll take new photos another day close to the windmills... They are massive! When you look at them from a distance you just don't realize how bit they really are.
