I went tothe doctor today....

and I am 2 centimeters dialated and 50% effaced!!!!!  I know that I can still walk around weeks like that but at least it is a step in the right direction.  Now I cant wait until next weeks appointment so I can see if I am going to be even more dialated!!!

hahha, I know you know but don't let your excitement get you going too much. It can be really hard to wait when you are thinking, "Any time now!!!"

Or, on the other hand...you could be like me. I went to my midwife on Monday and was not even thinned. My cervix was thick and closed. I had the baby the next day! hahha!

That's so exciting!  How are you feeling?  If you are able to get comfortable enough, definitely try to rest as much as you can now.  I was put on bed rest at 33 weeks with my first and I was fit to be tied b/c I had so much that I wanted to do.  Everyone said to enjoy the rest while I could, but did I listen?  (snort    )  I did rest though b/c I had to for the baby, and now I look back on it as the nice quiet time that I had with Cara before she became a big doggy sister.  So if you can, try to enjoy some rest more than I did, 'k?  LOL (at myself).

 My due date is July 10th.  But they are thinking that she will be more of a 4th of july baby!!  Yea everyone is telling me to get as much rest as possible but it is really hard to get comfy. 

I hope I have at least a week left because I have so much stuff to do.  I will post soooo many pics when she gets here!

I dont think that I have started nesting yet.  I keep the house pretty clean anyways.  I havent gotten that crazy on my hands and knees cleaning the baseboards or anything.
