Here are a few pics of my Saint Bernard Wilbur. He is just a year old and he is as sweet as pie.

Wilbur won Best in Sweeps and Best Of Breed- puppy. He did very well for his first show.
Bax has shown but I have recently pulled him because his front is not where it needs to be. He seems to be bowing a bit at his ankles and we are not sure why. I am giving him some time. If he does not turn out I will not show him. I took him to an orthapedic doc and they could not find anything. It may be just a funky growing phase. We will see.
Do you show Bear?

For bowing at the pasterns, try cutting back on food and supplements.  No extra calcuim and try taking some weight off.  It is usually due to one of the forearm bones growing too fast, and I don't have my book at home so I can't quote you which one.

I've heard some recommend vit C for it.

Thanks for the advice. :) I have him on C and E. He is not a big eater so I cannot cut back on his food. His cannot afford to lose weight at this point his weight is perfect. It may be a growing phase hopefully.
