Oh my goodness! I have never seen such a bad hot spot, and what an odd place for it. I hope it gets better soon!

Kira had a nasty one like that on the side of her face last Sept.  Our vet gave us oral antibiotics, steroids and a liquid antibiotic wash that i put in a spray bottle to administer.  Within two days it was drying up.  the hair took forever to grow back though.
Hers was allergy related.

I hope he is feeling better soon.  Poor boy looks miserable.

Aww, poor Milo.  I've never seen a hotspot that big.  I hope he feels better soon.

Harley gets hot spots like that on her feet from allergies. Not fun, and it breaks your heart to see them in pain  :'( But good news is now that you have the medication for it, it will heal up in no time  :)

Oh poor Milo!  Fumble has skipped the hot spots and just gone directly to the serious staph infections, so i've never really seen one.  But i've heard that they make the poor things uncomfortable!  Hopefully it heals soon, but i'm sure Milo is in his mommy's hands!!  Fumble sends lots of drooly kisses!
