Oh how i hate the cone......

so, shakes has to wear an E Collar, aka big plastic cone, because of his surgery....

Anyhow, he likes to follow me around, and he bumps into the back of my legs a lot.

now i bruise really easily, but it still hurts a lot!!

He must be running into you pretty hard to cause bruises that bad.

I think everyone hates the cone...When zoey was spayed, she hated the e-ring so much she figured out how to take it off at night - she wedged herself under the corner of the bed so the ring would squeeze and the opening would expand, and then she wiggled her little butt out of it. We woke up so confused when we saw she wasn't wearing it until we foung it wedged under the corner and figured out what happened.

OMG! Your legs look awful.  I guess when he is coming towards you, you should jump out of the way. People are goung to begin to think you are getting beaten by your family instead of your dog.  How much longer does he have to wear that cone?

Oooh, I think he is punishing you!  Your bruises look painful.  I can certainly sympathize with the bruising...I bruise really easily too and when we first brought Sasha home it looked like I'd lost a fight!

Here's hoping he doesn't have to wear the cone much longer!

the problem is that he follows me all the time!!!

he should only have it a couple more weeks...everyt hing is healing up nicely.

i actually got to see his paw this morning because the bandage they put on monday night was too loose and fell of in the middle of the night.  Anyhow, his wounds look great, healing up really well.
