Sad to say, but winter is coming
« on: October 26, 2008, 12:30:40 pm »
I heard on the news that there was hail to the north and west of GR today, but our skies were blue and it was breezy.  i looked outside a minute ago and it's hailing here.  Sad to say, but winter and snow are just around the corner.  It really really stinks.

I love :o Winter :o I love snow! My dogs love snow, my grandchildren love to play in the snow  ;D  We make hot chocolate and put it in insulated travel mugs for the kids to take outside...it's really fun!

Really, truly FUN! ;D
We already had one snowfall--Libby went insane with happiness!

I'm with Lori on this one - I HATE winter!  I know that the dogs will love it though.  I was telling the SO today that we'll have to buy warmer clothes because our dogs will want to walk no matter how cold and yucky it is outside.

I love winter! I can't wait to take the pups up the snow (and for the temps to go down, I hate it over 65 degrees).

I like winter time too. I'm not sure how Athena will like it. I put a t shirt on her to go out now so she doesn't get too cold. But it sure is hard to find those poop piles in the leaves! Kind of like land mines if you know what I mean! ;D

UGH!!!  Almost all our leaves are gone and it looks like November already.  Winter wouldn't be so bad if it didn't last forever.  I was looking at pictures from May and there was still snow on the ground and summer didn't really start til July here- it's so unfair!  Anyone from a warmer place want to trade for the winter? :)

Got to say that I agree with Lori and all the other Southerners.  I don't like winter.  Thankfully it doesn't last long here.  I love that it's in the low 80s right now and I don't have to use my air conditioner but nobody likes 40 degree weather.
