After almost 4 years with Starbucks, I am moving on. I had a job interview yesterday at 10 a.m. for a manager position at Party City and they called me at 2:30 p.m. and offered me the job!!
It's about the same pay, but it's only about 3 minutes from my house, and the hours are so much better - no more 5 a.m. opens or getting home 'til midnight!
This couldn't have come at a worse time for my Starbucks store, though. My ASM is about to be fired, one of my shift supervisors may be fired on Monday as well and another shift supervisor just walked out on her shift tonight - for no real reason except that I wrote her up - again -for not doing her job. Oh well.
I'm gonna get them through Black Friday then I'm done with the Drama!!
