Looking for recommendations on pet insurance

I'm looking into pet insurance for Shandi and am finding it difficult to decide which one to go with as you can't always compare them 'apples to apples'.

I don't want to start a free advertising thread here, but I would love to find out if any of you have any recommendation s... if you have used a company that you're pleased with, could you please send me an e-mail (carrie.renda @ gmail.com) and let me know?

Rather than use pet insurance..... .......as they don't cover everything and many won't cover breed specific problems...... .....I would suggest to put whatever money you would spend monthly on insurance into a savings account.

that is what I do, although i don't deposit every month.  An added bonus is that it will accumulate interest.  That way your pet will be covered if anything should happen and you'll get interest added on to boot.
