They don't really spit , it's more of a HUFFING PUFFING sound . hehe it is cute . They also do another weird thing that no one really knows why they do it . If they smell something really interesting on your hands , or if you feed them something they haven't smelled before ,they will start foaming at the mouth and then will procede to try to cover their bodies in the foam . It's really funny to watch because it's so crazy !
Yep , they come in all sorts of colors ,I had plain salt and peppers , chocolates , albinos , and pintos (my favorite!) !
Many of the top hedgie breeders will not feed commercial hedgie food to there's . The prefer a mix between several adult cat foods ( the good brands ; Chicken soup , innova , etc) that's what I did
