Tomorrow morning I take her in - Maybe. We had to do her pre-surgery blood work over again because it seems there is a clotting problem. I'm waiting to hear from the vet as I write this. She thinks it's because of the Duramaxx she was on. Sophie has been off it for a couple of days now so hoping new blood work will give the go ahead.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'll keep you all posted.

GOOD LUCK tomorrow.  I'm sure things will be just fine.  pain killers will thin the blood.  The vet always tells you no asprin a week before surgery too.
Hold your breath and try to relax.  she's going to be ok and so much better than ever.  It'll feel like forever before she's back on her paws.  Just take care of her and you.  don't get lost in all this.  I know it's easy to do, but try to take a minute or 2 for yourself too...you'll need it.

Best wishes for you and Sophie both tomorrow!

I heard through the Newf grapevine that Sophie thinks her mom is no ka oi!

For those that haven't been practicing their Hawaiian along with Sophie that mean she thinks her mom is the best!
