I just saw part of a story on the news about this organization. I think it's based in Georgia. Evidently it's about 100(?) volunteer pilots that fly rescues to their destinations.

Actually, looks like they might have started in Tennessee but the pilots are donating their planes and gas to transport these doggies. They've transported about 200 dogs that were to be put down. :'( :-*
