Stinky feet....what to do?
« on: January 26, 2009, 03:15:44 am »
Gunner, I swear has the stinkiest feet EVER!!!!
Last night I caught Baileigh trying to febreeze his feet.
I ended up putting him in the tub to wash his feet to get febreeze off and hopefully curb the cheeto/corn chip smell.
The rest of him doesnt stink or even really smell even 2/3 weeks after a bath just those huge paws.

What do you guys do for stinky feet?

I've never heard of doggie stinky feet!  I had to laugh at the febreeze thing, that's something my daughter would have done!  Have you tried using a deodorizing doggie wipe or a dry shampoo spray?

Well, you are one LUCKY dogma!!!!  LOL!
Baileigh was upset once I explained the febreeze could have made him sick,  she had soaked one of his back paws and was about to soak the other.
Im always febreezing sneakers and hubby's work shoes,  so she figured it was ok.
I have some rinseless shampoo somewhere.  Im gonna give that a try.

Most dogs feet smell like fritos. It's funny when you tell someone that, they don't believe you. Then they go smell their dogs feet. And they say I thought you were making it up :D ;D :D

I do know that dog feet do smell when there is a small yeast problem from them sweating and or being wet from snow or rain.  I know of a product called Nzymes that have helped out all of my dogs, and they are now yeast issue free with it.  It is a wonderful thing, a suppliment to your dogs food.  (sorry not trying to sell it, although it works great!) www.nzymes.com
