Hi everyone,

I'm so excited that I found this place. I am new to owning a pyr and she's so much fun. Her name is Kiah and she's 5 months old. I'm really glad I got a pyr. I've been wanting one for years and she has finally come to me. She's very special to me and my family. We even share the same birthday, well almost only a day apart and a few years. I have a two year old and they took together like two peas in a pod. Right away Kiah protected her when we introduced Kiah to our neighbors. Kiah stood between them and my daughter. My neighbors are good people, but she didn't know that then. She's one smart and stubborn pup. :) I tried to attach a picture but it kept saying I had to reattach it. Any ideas on what's wrong?

You are probably hitting preview instead of post. You have to reattach your pic's if you preview first. Just hit post.  By the way, welcome from me (Cindy) and my 6mo. old pyr, Rocky. Your girl is beautiful, reminds me of Rocky!! Can't wait to see more! ;D

Welcome, what a pretty girl you have.  My two pyrs are Sugar Bear (13 months) and Dixie Darlin 7 months.  Anytime they start making me crazy they just have to look up at me with those big brown eyes and I am history.  I look forward to lots of photos and stories about your girl.

Welcome to the club, they have help me out tremendously so far here.  I am in the same boat as you with having our first new Pry.  He is sooooo cute....

Welcome to the group we love all the big ones here...no matter how they smell!  But I can tell you that Pyrs smell waaaaaaaaaaaaa ay better then newfs!  Sorry Jabaer I know yours also walks on water.

Welcome!! A couple days late on my part, but heh, I try.


Blizzard says HI, too! She's our first (and definatly not ever going to be our last). She's been a part of my family for five years now. (wow time flies!)


I can't imagine ever living without a Pyr....ever.
