Easter Parade ideas needed!!

We're just starting up a social group for our Newfs and their friends and our first event is going to be the Easter Parade.  I need ideas on how to decorate a Newf cart (in this case a team cart so it's the approximate size of a kids red wagon) and on costumes for Fargo, Ursa and Sadie.

I'm not normally a dog costume person so I stink at these things but it's important that everyone get totally into the spirit here since it's our first event.

You could use food colouring, I would think that would wash out.    Jo coloured Reba's hair a while back, maybe she know's a product you could use. 

I personally, would get some bunny ears, and decorate the wagon like a basket.  But I'm pretty lazy when it comes to stuff like that!
