Faust 7/19/98-5/18/09

(1/2) > >>

Moni:
Its always heartbreaking knowing when to make that certain decision for our furry loved ones.  I just wanted to let you all know that we will be letting Faust go either Monday or Tuesday, as long as he doesn't get worse before then.  So this will be Faust's last weekend with us.

Faust has been on constant pain meds due to the arthritis in his spine growing into his spinal cord.  Well, a couple of days ago, his nose started bleeding.  We were worried that he might have had a nasal tumor back in January, but all the testing came back negative.  The vet had said that the tumor might still be to small to see, but we'd know if it grew.  So, now we know.

The sun was kind enough to stay out for the whole day. There are no tears today, I just thought that I'd share the happy smiles of the crew enjoying the warmth.

I'm so sorry :( Such a regal old man, give him tons of kisses and belly scratches for me this weekend..

I'm so sorry to hear about Faust...it always is so hard to say goodbye even if you know it's coming.  Give him a kiss and a hug for me.  Just remember you are doing what's best for him which is always the right decision.

London_Pyr_Lover:
I'm so sorry Moni.  I saw your update on FB, and had to check here to see if maybe I misread.  I was really hoping that I misread.  Poor Baby Faust, soon there won't be anymore pain, and muddy puddles galore.  :'( :-*

pitas:
Moni we are so sorry about your big boy Faust. We know that you gave him a wonderful life with lots of love & attention, he knows it too.  He will be free of pain & run at the Rainbow Bridge with all of his doggy pals. Sending all of you extra hugs from Jersey.
