First Swim Lessons
« on: May 30, 2009, 11:20:14 am »
We took Fargo and Sadie down to the lake today for their first swim lessons with their new life vests.

Oh my gosh!  I CAN swim!!!

Swimming with the bumper:

Bringing it to mom:

Like my 'do??

Fargo's motto is WooHoo Water!!!

I don't need no stinkin' bumper!

Daddy doesn't need saving:

Are you sure about that Daddy??

Looks like they are having a great time out there. My Rottie Tealk has bad hip problems. We go over to my sisters pool, put as life vest on him and he loves it. He will do laps around the pool and tries to race you to the other side.I think he gets aroud better in the water with the vest on because there is no weight bearing on his hips.

that is a great idea.  I'd love to see that race.  do you have to get a special vest or does one size fit all?   I can see putting Grace is some floaties and a cute little swin cap.

Awwwwww, toooooo cute!  It sure looks like they took to it like ducks!  Haven't I heard of some Newfs though on BPO that weren't especially fond of water at first?  That's what I have stuck in me beedy brain anyway.  ;)  ;D  It's great that your two loved it so quickly.  Someday I'd love to watch some Newfies in the water.  :-*
