does he just have an itch or an ear problem?

Hi!
My new dog has just started scratching his left ear more than his right.  ??? I assumed his sudden scratching was due to fleas (I took him to a dog park and guess what he came home with?  Yes, that's taken care of). He doesn't scratch anything excessively, just notice he scratched his one ear more than the other.

Am I being rediculously obssessive?  Haven't had a dog in 12 years, so a bit out of practice. :-[   ::)
