my newfie mixes

These are my boys- Bear is a 12 1/2 yr old Newfie/ golden retriever mix, Koda is a 3 yr old newfie/ lab/ husky mix and Roscoe is the new baby- 5 months old and a newfie/ great pyrenees/ shepherd and possibly somehting else mix- he was the runt and is still little, but growing every day.

Welcome to the group. I want to wrap my arms around Bear and feel his soft fur against me. I just love big fluffy dogs! :)

Thanks so much for the welcome everyone- Bear is super soft for hugging.  HE isn't big on the cuddling though as he was badly abused before the SPCA finally took him away from his owners and he was adopted by me.  : (   But that makes his snuggles extra special!

Newfie mixes are great. My dog Elvis was awesome! I was lucky enough to have him as my companion for the last 8.5 years of his 13 year life. He was a newfie lab mix. Here is a picture of him. He was a great friend.
