Yep, and boy was my friend mortified about being blamed, too! 

One comfort about all that burping and farting, though...at least you know they're not holding that gas in!  I'm convinced that's at least one reason we've never had a dog bloat--all our babies have been exceptionally skilled at getting rid of gas!    No matter how much she burped and farted, we always praised Gracie.  We'd say, "Good girl!  Better out than in!"
