great dane needs a home!
« on: August 23, 2005, 10:37:56 am »
Ok, here we go again, I don't know how long this guy has but he needs to get bailed out! I can't seem to get anyone on the phone in the shelter. He looks gorgeous. My sisters live very close to this shelter so I think I can get one of them to do a pickup... but they wouldn't be able to foster this guy! It's only $30 to get him out!

I would love to have a great dane but since I am in the midst of selling my house moving, I will have to pass.  Let me know if you need help getting in contact with any rescues in the cincinnati area, I can hook you up here.
Thanks,

Emily and 1 husband, 1 boy, 1 on the way, and 4 crazy dogs

Oh what great news :) I'm glad you were able to save a life! I wish we were closer, but I'm all the way in Oregon!
Have a great day everyone, and I hope you can find that beautiful boy a wonderful home!

WOW REBEKAH! That was fast! I'm glad he's getting pulled. You're awesome! How long can your sister hang on to him for?

She told me she hopes I can come get him in a few days... which honestly I don't think I'll be able to swing but she doesn't need to know that! I'm waiting on a call from her, I told her to check out his temperament and not pull him if she doesn't feel like she can handle him, but she has a couple of guys going with her. I'm going crazy waiting on an update! She should be there any time now.
Ahhhh!

Awww, man!! My sister just called and somebody beat her to him! He's been adopted! Of course it's awesome that somebody saved him but I was hoping it would be us!!  :P
She's pretty bummed, she told me that the whole way there she and her friends were coming up with names for him and thinking about keeping him. But now I know exactly who to call for the next rescue mission... my sister has now entered the network...

That's great that he got adopted.  And that you have a new ally in your sister.
