Didn't get the good job.

Well the ad agency didn't call me so I called them today.  The guy said he was really sorry but he hired someone else.  I was kind of confused, because they said that they were doing 2nd and 3rd interviews, but whatever.  I said thanks for the opportunity and hung up.  I'm bummed.

That's a great idea!  and yes things happen for a reason.  :)  I'm sure the perfect job will come up soon!  I know it's a long hard wait...but it'll be worth it.

I was planning on sending them a note.  It's just a bummer is all.  I'm in a funk :-[  Calling a bunch of other places today, as well as sending my resume out.  70% of all jobs aren't even advertised, so it's best if you get an insider to tip you off.  Unfortunately I don't have any insiders.  Sigh.  I have an appt next Wednesday, at the Unemployment agency, pretty much making sure that I'm doing all I can to find a job.  Otherwise they'll take away my $64 a week.

Ang, I am sorry - that is a bummer.  I have been there before myself.  All you can do is send the thank-you letter and keep looking and hoping.  You never know what might happen - you might find something even better!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the job.  That is a bummer.  However, I'm sure you will find a great job!  We're all pulling for you!

I have a Monster account.  I hadn't heard of headhunters.co m though.  I'll try that :) 

OK head hunter.com doesn't have my state :(  Bummer. Oh well thanks anyway :)

bummer.  i typed in a general search for employment sites when I was looking.  I'm sure you'll find a ton of places...put your resume on every one of them.

When I was looking for a job I put resumes in everywhere. I went for many interviews. Finally I got a job. The day I started when I got home there were 3 messages on the answering machine offering me jobs. Go Figure.
 I,m sure something better will come your way :)

I can only imagine how disappointed you are but life does work in funny ways.  Sometime you have to take a lesser job to get the experience and maturity (besides the money!!!!) to get where you need to be !  Wasn't it Confucius who said the greatest curse was to have all your wishes granted???  Something better is coming....and you gotta tell us first!!!!
