Lost Dog
« on: September 04, 2005, 05:37:37 pm »
Hello.  I am writing this on behalf of my friend Julie, who earlier today lost her Jindo dog Kaiya.  Julie was in NJ this weekend for a wedding, and left Kaiya with friends in Mountain View, which is near Union NJ.  Somehow Kaiya got out of the yard while Julie was on her way to the wedding, and no one could catch her.  This happened around 11 am eastern time.  They are originally from NYC, and Julie has only had Kaiya for about 3-4 months, so Kaiya finding her way home is unfortunately unlikely.

Kaiya, as mentioned earlier, is a Jindo, which is a Japanese breed of dog.  She looks similar to a large shiba inu.  If you or anyone you know live in the NJ area mentioned, please keep an eye out for her.  She has been mistaken for a fox before by unknowledgable people.  You can see pictures of her on her Dogster page at:

http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=152846&j=t

If you see Kaiya, or have any information, please call Julie at 917.202.0328.

Kaiya is microchipped, and Julie's number is on her collar.  I hope and pray she is found soon.  I feel helpless that there is not much I can do from where I am, but I am asking to get the word out.

Thank you.

I hope Kaiya is found and returned soon.  I just went to the site where her pictures are and read the journal entries your friend made.  It was wonderful reading !  She loves her girl very much...Lots of prayers their way...

I am so happy your friend found her girl!  What a heartbreaking, nerve wracking ordeal for both of them!   ;)

YAY!
A happy ending!
We need more of those happy endings!
Especially when they are accompanied by a 'wiggle butt'!!!
The Supreme Being smiled upon us today, and gave us the strength to go forward.
Gave us the hope that what we want to accomplish on this planet is possible.
We have to work together to make this planet habitable.
It starts with a smile and a dream.
