Puppy Ads
« on: September 09, 2005, 01:31:19 pm »
I was just looking at one of the many ad websites where you can put an ad up to sell puppies, dogs.  Quite a few of the pictures of the older puppies, show a large dog with it's tail tucked and a leash tight lining them.  These are the dogs that are going for a few thousands dollars.  I would assume the tail tucked between its legs would be warning sign.  Is it? ???
Thanks,

Emily and 1 husband, 1 boy, 1 on the way, and 4 crazy dogs

Seems like it to me. Happy dogs don't tuck their tails.

When I think of a tucked tail I think of a scared dog. :(

Tucked tails are not good.  Willow is very afraid of men - tucks her tail etc...I think there were some issues with the husband of her breeder..the vet thought maybe she was kicked in the butt by the way she acts...all of the time she is happy wagging that deadly tail.  We take her out all the time and I am always letting men give her treats and stuff...she is much better.  Makes me sad to think anyone would be mean to her she is such a sweet baby...
