Okay, so I know this site is for dogs, but I took these pics this morning and I am proud of them, so here they are.

I regularily see dolphins off the shore, but normally only their dorsals peek above the water.  Today they were very playful and were actually surfing the waves.

Sorry about the quality, I had to zoom in all the way on my camera, as I was on the upper boardwalk with Keiko.

I would love to see them up close. On my next cruise I am definately going swimming with the dolphins.

Wow!  that is amazing!  I've only seen dolphins in captivity.. it must be even more wonderful seeing them in their natural state.  ;D

Very nice :) Even when you see a bunch of dolphins it is very hard to catch them on film with them bobbing up and down.

My question is: where do you live that you can see dolphins from home? I am jealous!

I live in Oceanside Ca, but I always see the dolphins in Carlsbad, the next town over.  After the dog park in the morning, the guys always get their walk along the beach boardwalk.  We see the dolphins a few times a month, but they are not normally so active, and don't normally stay in one place.  Usually by the time I get back to my car to grab my camera (always on hand for the dog park   ;D )they are too far away.

Ah yes,  I see you are in San Diego.  I don't make it down there too much, although we did go to the Coronado dog beach last Tues.

How was it compared to the ones up North?  I know a lot of people that are real fans of the ones further up.  We haven't been to Coronado...  Gwen usually goes to the Ocean Beach dog beach when she goes, and Ranger has been a couple times on quiet days, but I have a feeling the ones up north are "nicer"...   ;D
