Ciliary dyskinesia in Irishwolfhounds
« on: September 13, 2005, 11:32:38 am »
Our two year old Irish wolfhound has been diagnosed with possible ciliary dyskinsia.  There is one study ongoing at the University of Penn.  Has anyone else confronted this problem?

Nope.  I haven't heard about it eithe.  Sounds like some  research is going to have to be done!

I hope it's something that can be treated!  Good luck and let us know what you find out!

U.C. Davis is considered the leading school for Vet. Research in the USA.
I would go to their website and do a search.

I'm not familier with this either. I will have to do some research too. I don't worry so much about Finn having an illness as I do that he will have something and I won't know cause I don't know what to look for. Thanks for the heads up and if anyone finds out more could you please post?

How old is your IW? He or she is beautiful and shaggy!!!
