New Big Dog Owners
« on: September 14, 2005, 10:06:30 am »
Hi everyone,
My name is David and my Wife is Kathy.  We are both from Clovis, CA.  Our "Kids" are Keiko and Sierra.  Keiko is a 6-7 month old female Newfie, and Sierra is a 4-5 month old female Weimaraner.  Needless to say we will have our hands full as they get older.  Glad to see that there is a local board for those of us with big dogs.  Look forward to chatting with everyone.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, burger in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up and worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!

Hi, and welcome to BPO.

I also have a Keiko, but she's my 7 yr old husky/shepherd mix.  And then of course there's Gunther, my almost 10 mo old great dane.

Hi David and Kathy!
This is the geatest place!
Bring your babies to Clark Intermediate. They can run free, have never had a problem there with other dogs, or people.
 Bring POOP bags!
The football boys hate it when it's not picked up!
Looking forward to meeting you and your furkids!

Gyps,
Samson looks like he's had it with, "That Other Dog" being a "STAR"!
Better give him a BIG kiss for being so understanding.

Welcome to the group.   Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

You are the second person I know from Clovis here on BPO.  John, Tulsa's dad also lives up there.
