Hello and welcome! Cassie is the cutest! She has the best expression on her face in the picture. I hope to see more pics of her.

We live in Ca. and  have a 3 year old Newf named Bear.

Why doesn't she like to swim?

Get that DAWG into water, NOW!
A Newf out of water is like a submarine on Mt. Everest.
However, be prepared for Mud, strange tracks through the house, and a pooped out pup.
But you already knew that, huh?

Welcome!

Hey don't feel bad!  We have one newfie who LOVES water and the other won't go near it!

It's funny how newfies develop such interesting personalities!!

all my newfs are water hounds.
if you take her to a lake where other dogs are swimming, and you go in with her not pushing her, but with an enticing toy, you can get her to like the water.
some take longer than others.
though, mine take off like a bullet when they smell the water.
