DSL at work, and Cable at home. Everything loads OK at work, like lightnng at home.

DSL at home, paid for by my wife's company, SWEET!  FREAKING DIAL UP at work, the cheap b%#$@^$s!  Although I would have preferred Cable at home, DSL works fine and is pretty fast.  I pull my hair out at work waiting for the stupid dial up connection to just load the current page, much less any images.  I guess my boss would rather I get online to do Equipment ordering than be on BPO, what a jerk!  >:(

We had dial up up until about 8 months ago then they offered this special or cable for six months for 29.99 so we switched and planned on going back when it went up...well when it was time go to back to dial up it just wasn't happening..onc e you go cable you can NEVER go back to dial up!

I have cable. Regular pages load really fast for me, and ones with tons of pictures attached load fine but obviously not as fast.

We used to have cable but to save money we switched to DSL. We really can't tell the difference and my husband is a huge computer geek. BPO loads fast and the only problem I have is that some people's avatars won't load and show as a red x. It could be my internet properties are set a certain way and no fault of anyone else.

I wish I could get cable or DSL. I live in the boonies.. and it's not available here. They have no idea if it ever will be.  :(
