Obedience trainability measures a dog's ability and willingness to learn and obey commands.. where does your dog sit?

SEVENTY PERCENT for a Newfie????  That's not fair!!  It's just it takes them S O O O O long to get up so they can do a "sit"!    and to figure out what part of their body they need to move!

Exactly.. there is alot of processing power needed to go thru all of the different ways that are possible to move.. but the time it takes to find the path of the least resistance is worth it to them I guess.. :)

Taz is a 30, but I've learned that Taz is an exception to the Siberian Husky breed in more ways than one  :)

Willow is a 50 and the mojos are a 10 - that was no big shock.

I find it odd that siberians have an intelligence rate of 90, but are listed in obedience and trainability as 30.  I guess they are so smart they are just above learning.   ;D  I also had to laugh at their shedding #: 77, but their grooming needs are listed as 22.  They shed alot, but don't need to be groomed much?   ???

Keiko's shepherd 1/2 has 90 for intelligence and 80 for trainability.  I guess that makes her total intelligence of 180, and training of 110.   :D  She certainly would fit that to a T

Gunther sits at 30 for intelligence, and 50 for training and obedience.  I guess he's a dumb animal, so he's more gullible to train.   ;D  He certainly doesn't question training the same way that Keiko does.

Sapphire is in the 10% arena.  ??? I guess this must be averages. She's either above average, or she will start to refuse to obey as she ages? She does obey, except during intense play, and when strangers come into the house. But obeys outside even with strangers...

So does everyone thing this is accurate for your breed? I looked at some of the other traits. I don't understand a Gr. Pyr. ranked in the 60's for guarding.  ???

How about it?

It's funny to me that danes who are so eager to please only rank at 50.  I wonder if there is a difference between male and female trainability in these averages?

It also rans the Newfoundland "Grooming Needs" as a 44.  Seems like it would be higher... But shedding is a 100!! lol!
