I've been taking WAAAAY to many pictures while I'm on "Safari"      I think I need professional help.  lol 

I finally decided to upload them into my yahoo photo album so I can share them.  So, go have a peek if you want to browse through some of the screenshots I've gotten off the Webcam.

Here's my favorite one so far, I call it ele-hug!    Though my fav animals to catch on their so far are the jackals.  They are such a riot and cute to boot!  lol

You can take pictures on there?  What is wrong with my setup?  I can't do anything with it but watch......... .........and 1/2 the time lately whoever is controlling the camera has been making it all blurry.

I uploaded the new realplayer, and now I also can't keep it on continuously, b/c after about 20 min it goes to a white screen and I have to shut it down and start over.  Grrrrrrr!!

I have to admit that I checked out the Web Cam the other night and it's pretty cool.  Those damn birds that hang around the watering hole are so freaking loud!  I had to turn down the volume after a while, it was a bit annoying.  10-11 PM California time seemed to be a good time to check it out, it was like 8 AM there and there were a lot of animals.  Very cool but I'm probably more addicted to BPO,    www.ultimatear cade.com    and other unmentionable websites....

that's ok, a lot of other's do get it.

I've found the best times for watching the animals is between midnight and 6am EST.  well, at least thats when its daylight over there.  lol

Here's how I do the web cam screen shots.  I'm not sure if its the same for everyone though.

1)  Start the Webcam video and right click on it, click Play in RealPlayer

2)  Click on Tools and then click on Preferences

3)  Click on Hardware and make sure that your Video Card Compatibility is set to either the middle or all the way to the left(Most Reliable)

4)  Right click again on the video and select Full Screen Theater for good size

5) Open up your Paint Program (usually under Start, Programs, Accessories)

6)  Click on Edit and Paste

7)  Then finally File and Save As   

After I've done that I usually wait until I've got a bunch and then bring them into Photoshop and start editing them, such as crops, contrast or color.  Have fun!!!

Well, I got as far as #4.  Unfortunately, in full theater mode, I dont' have a toolbar on the bottom of my screen.  I did get paint up and running, but I couldn't paste anything.

How do you paste, when you don't cut or copy anything?  I really want to be able to do this.

Oops, sorry about that.     I forgot to add that step.. my brain was ahead of my fingers. 

To "take" the picture hit the Print Scrn button on your keyboard.  Its usually just to the right of the F12 button.  Then you click on the paste in Paint.

When you're in full screen and need your toolbar, just click on the Return button up in the top left corner.  If you can't see it, just move your mouse and it'll pop up.
