Mobile, AL event: Fall Festival for Pups and People

Hey there all - wanted to put the word out for those of you in the Mobile area who may not have heard about it... there will be a Fall Festival for Pups and People on Saturday, Oct. 29th in Medal of Honor Park in Mobile.  The park is located off Hillcrest Rd., betweeen Grelot and Cottage Hill Rds. 
I went last year with Alexander the Great and we had a blast.  Lots of pups of all shapes, sizes and colors there (a few BIG PAWS too).  Booths, raffles, photos, costume contest and talent contest are a few of the features.

Wish we could go. Next year we'll be there, as it'll only be about 3 hours away!

Sorry to take so long to post some pics.  The festival was a great success; it was a beautiful day and great fun was had by all.  The kids enjoyed pupmkin hunts and a game booth, as well as meeting all the great pets there.  Don't have the final #'s yet, but a number of dogs got microchipped and reduced-rate vaccinations, thanks to the folks at the animal shelter.  Everyone enjoyed the pet costume and talent contests, as well as the sweet treats at the pastry booth.

Sorry we missed it, it looks like it was a lot of fun.  Are you guys showing at the dog show on November 19/20?

This is Dixie Darlin's first dog show. She will be in the Great Pyrenees Puppy 9-12 month class.  I don't have a ring number yet.
