Hogan..he looks like a Hogan.
I had a rotti named Hogan for his full name we did Treur freund ( spelling is wrong)Hogan. It sounds like I spelt it ( check a german dic)but it means faithful friend Hogan in German.

Hogan is an Irish / galic name

couple more to add to everyone else's
Kuhn - Daring (has the umlaut (double dots [dd's]) over the u)
Schafer - Shepherd (dd's over the a)
Eifer - Zeal  (pro: eye-fur)

From the previous posts I like Cort, Jaeger and Oberon... I like Oeron the best, but it also has a Shakespearrean connection, too; and that's one of the directions I name in...lol.  Best of luck with him, regardless of his new name, he's a handsome boy.

I'll give these to him today.  His brother is pushing for him to name the puppy "Boo" , which his GF and I personally think is stupid, and he was calling him Boo all last night, luckily the puppy didn't respond to it at all.  :P  I'll post pics as soon as I can.
