OK SIMPLE wedding.  I want this to be about ME and HIM, not my massive demanding extended family, not people we hardly know and really don't like, US.  We WERE thinking of about 18 guests, (My mom and dad, his mom and dad, MAYBE his step mom, my grandparents on my mom's side, my 2 sisters, his 2 brothers, Andi and Moni, Our friends Jimmy, Katie, Chris, Scott, and Ryan.)  However, I couldn't turn away my BPO Chicas   sooooooo I'll let you know how it goes, and accidentally drop hints, and book blocks of hotel rooms and such. 

The Dress I want something simple and classy, yet sexy as all *Heck*.   I'm thinking A line satin, empire waist and a halter neckline.  The reception, we're banging around Chuck E Cheese.  No seriously   The other stuff, well we'll see about that later :D:D

Matt wants to be a good provider though and refuses to do anything till we have our own place.  Even though he pulls in good money right now, in order for us to be able to afford everything, including the 3 dogs, I HAVE to work and make decent money.  Once that is taken care of the official planning can begin.  So if anyone has a job they want to offer .............. ............

EEEEWWWW!!  Ang, you are so not nice!  And if you had Jello Shots, yes I would end up crashing your party, literally!  Tables would be broken, I'd fall all over the place crashing into chairs, people, and band equipment!  Just make sure I stay far away from the cake!!

Congrats on the big news Ang.  Those dresses are lovely.  And I would crash the party just to see Marsi in that dress. .............. .lol  But I will warn you small weddings are harder to pull off than you think.  I tried and failed miserably and ended up with 250 people I did not want there.  Better luck to you.

I know that the small wedding is going to be hard to pull off.  Feelings are going to be hurt.  All I know is that on my mom's wedding day, she tried to make everyone happy, ended up NO one was happy and she was miserable all day.  I don't care who gets upset, because it's not about them.  This is where my evil bitchiness comes out

The thing is I have like 50 billion cousins I see like once every 3 years.  If I invite some of them and not others there'd be a massive feud.  If they're mad, so be it.  I'll just explain it to them like that.  I'll say I can't afford a wedding with over 500 people.  If they want to pay their way they're more than welcome.

I had the same problem.  My extended family is HUGE.  And then my mom wanted me to invite second cousins too.  So all these people I didn't even know were there.  I'm just glad only about 1/3 of all the people invited came.

I didn't care about hurting people's feelings either, but then my mom had to butt in and kind of take over.  So hopefully you will be the one running things.  Sounds like you have a good handle on it so far.  Don't stress out too much, and try ever so hard not to become one of those dreaded Bridezilla's, leaving terror and destruction in their path.......... ...lol

Have a 'Secret Ceremony' with only the people you want to be there. 
Rent a BIG building. Hire a Shi^^y band, serve lots of chips and dip, and Beer, then charge the uninvited $10.00 a head to get out to go to the bathroom. Charge them $5.00 to get back in.
You won't have to get a job, cause you'll be RICH!
