Why would it be cruel???

Wade uses one of those masking tape lint roller things on his dogs when he comes in from hunting to make sure they're all de-stickered. It doesn't bother them a bit, and it keeps the foxtails out of the truck and the house.   

Aren't these just masking sheets?
