I've heard nothing but good from them. Several of their pups are on Newf Net. (found here: http://www.newf.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php )

You can't ask for breeder recommendation s on the boards there, but you can PM any of the owners for their opnions.

Good luck!

Welcome.

Not that I'm big into the newf crowd, but I believe I've heard of that breeder, and only good things, as well.  Although I could be thinking of another breed's breeder with a similar name.   ???

Good luck on finding a puppy.

I've heard the name but nothing either way about them.  You might check with Newfoundland Club of America - Health and Longevity Committee.  I consulted them when I had narrowed my choices down to three breeders and they were very helpful.  The let me know if there were any complaints filed against a breeder and gave me good questions to ask.  We ended up with a wonderful brown boy who is 8 months old now and he's everything that Newfs are known for.

I don't know anything about Windancer Newfoundlands, Sorry!

We got Drake from a breeder near you though, Bacchanal Kennels in Riverside County.  Here is their site:

http://www.bacchanalkennel.com/

Doreen Beale is the breeder and we are so happy with Drake.  She raises quality Newfs and has a great breeding pool.  I don't know if she has any Males available, but it's worth checking out.  Here are Drake's beautiful parents, you can see where he gets his good looks and the quality of dogs she breeds with:

Mommy:  http://www.bacchanalkennel.com/sandy.htm

Daddy:  http://www.bacchanalkennel.com/magnus.htm

Hope this helps and good luck finding a Newf!  On a side note, this might be a good item to add to our dog's Paw Print in case someone likes the look of one particular dog or breed.  Have an entry column for Breeder, Sire and Bitch.  Just a thought.....  :)
