You Know You're a Redneck If

you go furniture shopping at the dump. My hubby went to dump our trash and came home with a couch. Not bad is it. Are other one was getting so warn out and we need to get it redone, but now we have another one while we wait. We will be getting the other couch done next year when we get the taxes back.

Hey the last picture is our new Great Dane laying on the couch (we picked him up at Kings Dominion)

That's a pretty nice couch to be at the dump!  Don't feel bad when I need funiture I have old crappy stuff given to me by my family!  "Oh Andi your Dad and I are getting leather furniture....h ere take our crappy old stuff!" LOL  That's usually how it goes around here, so I have lots of crappy hand me downs that would have gone to the dump if I hadn't taken them. ;D

Hey, that's the couch I threw away! ;D (just kidding)
I wish I could find a good couch at the dump, on the side of the road, anywhere!  My dogs have totally demolished my couch, and underneath that furniture throw of mine is at least 3 rolls of duct tape! Your hubby did a good thing! ;D

We hardly ever buy new furniture except for our kids beds. we find stuff at yard sales, at the dump (hubby always coming home with something, or it's given to us by relatives. Oh I forgot our mattress we bought new (it's a sleep number) but the one before was even used

Too Funny! Saturday I went with my boos to the dump and we put more stuff back into the truck than we came with.

hahaha this is funny!  and dog lover, dont feel bad!  that is a very nice looking couch.  you know what they say "one man's trash is anothers treasure"!  besides that my hubby is constantly bringing home old computers and monitors that he finds on the street when it is trash day!  he fixes them and gives them to friends and family that maybe cant afford a new computer.

Well, I've never retrieved a couch from the dump or the curb...

But I have 6 rescued bookcases. 

Of course, I've never seen a couch that NICE on a curb or at the dump before.  Please post Mapquest directions to your dump! ;D

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I am cracking up at the 3 "TNbirddogs" pic (by the way i am from tn and never seen any dogs with teeth like that-just a few hillbillies :) HAHAH LOL!!!!!!
