Family Resemblance?

Thought I'd start this new topic so I didn't hog the Dobie one started by Nicole.

Do any of you have photos of your doggies parents? Can you see a strong family resemblance? Here's photos of my Flynn and his mommy Matilda and daddy Leo. I see so much of Leo in Flynn, but he definitely has Matilda's lovely eyes. The thing that always makes me laugh are his 'melon pips' above his eyes. They're so expressive and he lets me know what he's thinking with his own brand of semaphore! When I went to pick him up I stopped with his breeders for two nights and the dogs were a delight to be around. Matilda accidentally locked Leo in the hall at one point (she's an expert door opener). Leo stood there looking at me through the glass door waiting to be let back in - he'd woof and then just raise one melon pip. Had me in stitches and I often think of Leo when Flynn wants something and does the same.

flynn is gorgeous and i do see where he gets his great looks!

Zoey doesn't look anything like her daddy, but I can see a resemblance with her mom.

here is a pic of hugo's daddy, dalton.  dalton is a pepper and salt whereas hugo is a black giant.  hugo definately has dalton's eyes and expression.  he also has dalton's personality too.  they both are very intelligent, somewhat easy to get hyped up, very clingy and very intense.  hugo uses his feet to touch you like dalton does.  when hugo is on the grooming table or in the tub, he will reach out a paw and lay it on your arm or chest.  dalton is identical in that respect.   

this is the only pic i can find of sara, hugo's mom.  as you can see its not that great of a picture.  hugo has her coat and ear set.  he also has her color.  i do see a little bit of her personality in him.  he is more reserved with strangers, like she was.

Kiah's coloring is just like her moms and her head is the same has her daddy's. The first picture is of her dad, the second one is of her mom and the third is her brother. They look nothing alike. Kiah's brother has wolf grey markings and was smaller then her.

I dont have pictures of Dar's parents, but I saw the mom when I went to the breeder's to pick her up.  Mom was a big ol' whoppin' gal, too, so Dar gets it honestly! Dad was a blue, though.
Sasha's mom belongs to my sister-in-law, and is a red (name's Ruby Jean) and dad was an oversized black named Tex.  Sasha only looks like her mom in the face, but not body type or color

I don't have a pic of Nee's Daddy, and the pic I have of his mommy isn't all that attractive.  But he looks ALOT like his grandpa!

Drake is definitely a combo of his Mommy and Daddy.  The first photo is of his Mommy, Sandy and she gave Drake is curly fur and size, he's on the "small" size for a Male Newf, just a meager 130 lbs!  I love the Judge in that picture!

The second photo is of his Daddy, Magnus and he gave Drake his magnificent dome and mellow disposition.  Plus, both are very low volume droolers and that was fortunately passed on to Drake as well. PHEW!!!  Looking at all of the Bacchanal Newfs, most of them have that classic Pouch Cove look, big dome and medium size nose.

i'd have to agree, like drake fumble is def a mix of his parentS! the top two are of his mom, Kati and the bottom two are of his pop, Lucas

That picture of Tatonka licking the kittens is the CUTEST thing I have seen in a long time.  What a sweet Momma Newf!  Caring for any baby animal she can.  And Chief is such a unique looking Newf, I've never seen that shade of Brown on a Newf and those long ears,(which looks like Mr. Jiggs inherited), are very cute.  He looks tired.    Cool Pics!

Here is a picture od Bear's parents. I think he looks a lot like his daddy Czar. He definitely has his "attitude" of thinking that he is super handsome  , has a bit of his forgetfulness and has his punkrock hair. 
He gets his sweetness from his momma Chrissy although both are very loving dogs.
