No longer the 6 pack
« on: November 17, 2005, 01:57:04 pm »
Last night Gyrl went downhill fast and today I brought her to be relieved of her pain.  It was a horrible experience and I'm still in shock.  A lot of stuff has been going on and though I might not reply, I try and pop in to read now and then.  Light a candle for the ol' lady that was dropped on our doorstep last year.  She will be greatly missed.  Sleep sweet Gyrl, until we meet again.

I'm sorry for the pain you're in.  It is one of the hardest things in the world to do.  But it was for the best.

Oh, Moni, no!  I am so sorry.  No matter how many times you go through it, or how much you know it is for the best - it is always heartbreaking.

I am crying for you guys right now - sad for your loss of Gyrl, and so happy and thankful that she got to spend her last year in your wonderful family.

Oh Moni , I am so sorry to hear this. What a heartbreaking time for you and your family. She spent the last of her time  here belonging to a family that loved her and cared for her. What more could she ask for. ;)
You are in our prayers Gyrl. Rest in peace .

It's always a sad time when a good friend goes on, but at least you can feel good about giving your Gyrl a good time before it was all over.  I'm a firm believer that when it's your time to go, there's nothing you can do about it, and I think that goes for our dogs as well.  My sympathy to you.
