There was just an article in the Los Angeles Times this morning on IBD (for humans....) and the recommendation there was for probiotics.  That is an easy thing to do and there are a lot of choices out there!

After research and conversation with the vet yesterday, I will be giving Tonka SG's Life Exxtension Enzymes and take her to a hollistic vet.

Great!  The newspaper said probiotics can be almost a mircle for people with IBD so I'm assuming it would be the same for dogs!

She had issues with the venison, so we are on Hills ZD Ultra and it has been great so far. 3 weeks, and no problems keeping our paws crossed.

I'm late on this thread, but Bo was recently diagnosed wtih IBD and mild Pancreatitis.  Our vet switched her to Eukanuba Fish & Potato and that seems to have done the trick.  No more cow pies & no more vomiting.  She seems to be eating less, too.  It's more expensive than what I'm used to for store-bought brands ($25 for 15lbs), but so far it's the only thing that's worked.
Good luck!

GSD AND Boxers suffere from this and the preferred diet from them is pork, many of them have switched to the back to basics pork based diet and have had wonderful success, pork is easy on the innards and supposedly easier on dogs who suffer from this malady.
