Interview with Gibson, the Worlds Tallest Great Dane

Hey guys I’m going to do an online interview of sorts with the World’s Tallest Dog – Gibson, well actually his owner Sandy. Gibson, as you probably know is a Harlequin Great Dane more than 7 feet tall standing up on his hind legs – taller than most NBA players. He currently holds the record in the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest dog. Gibson is also a certified therapy dog and is active helping kids in schools, can open doors for guests and can even say “I Love You.”

Anyway the interview is a fun and informal one, a Q&A session of 10 to 12 questions that we’ll post here with her answers. If you have any questions, serious or silly, post them up here!

How cool!! I'd like to know:

Is that a dog or a horse??  What did you feed that thing, MiracleGro? HA!! Just kidding! That was for all you dane fans that hear that every day.

What is the height between his belly and the ground? Could a small child walk right under him? Certainly looks that way.

How old is he and are they concerned about joint issues?

How big are his parents?

What is his favorite pastime?

Height at shoulder? 

Is he still growing?  If not then when did he stop?  If yes, when was his biggest growth spurt?

What kind of bed do you have for him?

What supplements if any and why?

Can I have him?

What kind of car do you drive?  Does he ride inside, or strapped to the roof?

Who is his best doggie friend?  (I ask b/c Gunther's best friend is a basset hound)

Does he sleep in your bed?

What size shoe does he wear?  (just kidding.  It's the question I ask all tall people.)
