By the way, did you laugh out loud when you read those books?

I did....absolut ely!  Out loud:   snorting, giggles, gasping for air kind of laughs.  Also cried!

Wasn't it Tricky Woo who went "flopp-bot", also?  Thanks for the reminder, Marit, I still have the James Herriot books and will take the time to revisit them. They are among my most favorites.

I cant believe how many people have read those books, always when I talk about those books to people, they dont know what I am talking about. I guess there has to be more things we have in common than liking BPO  ;D laughing and crying reading the same books lol.
