Awwww, she wasn't really the devils' spawn, but I'm sure you know that. My pet names for my two shar-pei that Petra will meet at the bridge were 'Tinkerbell the bitch from h*ll' and 'Phoebe the b***ard'. Both had 'issues' that I managed to not so much worth through as live with. But often it is the 'difficult' dogs we have that make the biggest impact on our hearts. They teach us so much.

But dammit - what a complete plonker of a vet! Maybe he should come here and read all your previous posts for a reality check.

Although I haven't been registered here long, I have lurked for better than six months, and I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about Petra. It was a horribly difficult decision I'm sure, but one that had to be made. Thank goodness that you had the courage to set her free.

So Sorry for your loss!
I know how hard it is to make this horrible decision! Keep all of the happy memories of Petra close to your heart and try not to dwell on today! You did the right thing, no matter what some crazy vet said to you! Godspeed petra! I hope she is at the bridge playing with my Sadie
right now :)

You are an unbelievable strong person.  You did what was best for everyone and now Petra is in a better place.  You are a wonderful doggy mommy.
