Hey Jess....

I've called a friend who asked me to keep my eyes open for an adult  Newf who needs a home.  They are an older couple (maybe late 50's) and they adore my dogs...but don't want to do the puppy thing.  Hopefully they will contact the shelter.  I'll let you know what happens!

Fingers and paws crossed here!!!!

Poor Buddy!  I'm looking into this one, So Cal isn't too far away.  I have reported this to the NCNC Health & Rescue, so maybe they can help.  They have rescued and placed a lot of Newfs in need.

Thank you SO much!  I'm so worried about this boy...he looks sweet and really needs a home.  He must be scared in the shelter.  I hope someone can take him in.

Edited to add:  Fingers and paws crossed!

Keep me in the loop guys - I can't foster, but I am in San Diego and might be able to give him a ride if needed...

Poor thing! The sheer volume of dogs in need is overwhelming. I'm in SD and I'll put the word out.....unfort unately we're not in a position to adopt or foster another dog.  :'(

He's sucha a good looking dog and Newf rescue is awesome in helping out those in need. I'm sure this boy will find a home in no time. ;)

Awww, Poor boy.  :'( He looks so scared. I'm definately too far away to be of any assistance. But I'm crossing my fingers that he gets a good home soon.

We visited Jackie today and met this poor guy.  What a sweetie!  Here are a couple of photos...

His feet are very sore because he was probably dragged by a car.  He has a couple of staples in his left front leg and also an abrasion on his chin.  Even with all this, he still is super friendly and wants to meet everyone.  All his wounds should heal completely.  Now he just needs a forever home to love him.

He really deserves a great home!
