2005 Regional Specialty - JUMPING NEWFS!!!
« on: December 19, 2005, 01:49:29 pm »
I just came across these pics, but this event was back on October 28th.  I love seeing Newfs jump!  There's just something funny about it.  Check out the photo album at:

It does look funny!  Any other dog would laugh at a Newf "jump"!  But it is impressive to see them airborne!!!

I am always amazed when I see them airborne, it just seems so strange. Beautiful form though.

Onyx does the whole leaping thing...usuall y when we least expect it! I've even seen all four feet off the ground, of course...the landing shakes the ground as an elephant might! ;D ;D ;D

This shot cracks me up too, what is he doing?  Completely airborne!  I know what you mean about landing like an elephant.  Drake hops up and down when I get home and play ball with him.  He just crashes down and it makes a loud thump.  I try to not let him do that too much because I worry about the stress it puts on his doggy body.  Nutty Newfs!!!
