Looking for a durable chew toy that will keep a dog's interest

I like the toys made from firehoses.  As both a firefighter and a st bernard owner I know that these last.  I figure if we can drive our big trucks over them, take them through burning buildings, through glass and other debris, plus my dog can't seem to chew through it.  It should last.  The only thing that might not would be the ends of it where it's sewn shut.
