Nothing to be worried about. Bear has super goopy eyes- we call them eye bugars- and our vet said something about the way that the eye is makes them form. Unless it changes color or stinks or something it is totally normal.  ;D

Bava gets them a little bit normally, and gets them real bad if him and Mowgli play and chew on each others faces a lot.

Mine very rarely have them, it seems the "new fad" heads with droopy eyelids (they are supposed to be tight) are the ones who suffer most from this.
as the head grows it is normal to see sag on and off, but, the final head is supposed to be a tight eyelid.
funny how the showring promotes this harmful head style......
eye drops may help.

Eye goops are normal, just like we get them.  Drake gets them all the time, we just wipe them away with his ears usually.  Droopy eyelids, or "Cherry Eyes" are a genetic problem that Newfs have, but they can be corrected and breeders can weed out that defect through selective breeding.

i wouldnt worry about dry eye if no goop i see healthy eyes that are properly lubed up. LOL
Cherry eye is a curled up inner eyelid that pops out in the inner corner of the eye, it is mostly believed caused by allergies.
if the eyelid folds up you will have a big bump there.

Awwww
what a sweet face and nice to see the eyelids are proper! when droopy and many stay that way their lifetime, crud and debri gets into the eye even moreso than if the eyelids are tight, the discharge is there more for eyes that sag than eyes that are tight, dependant on if your newf has allergies also! allergies can cause goop to.
