feel like im in a bad dream

24 hours without my little dotty now, i couldnt sleep last night.. doubt i can tonight.. i miss my baby  still so hard to believe shes gone, just feel like im living a bad dream.. i got her when i had just turned 8 so i dont really remember never having my snotster around  cant bring myself to accept ive lost my little baby

I'm sorry to hear about Dotty. I know it's no comfort to you, but how nice for her that she went peacefully and in her sleep. I've lost two very much loved doggies this year - one was particularly special to me and I thought my world would stop spinning at one point. Trust me, you will come to terms with it sooner than you think and all you'll remember are the many happy times you shared.

It is important you grieve in whatever way you feel you need to. I have a friend who has a complete mini Egyptian tomb for her dog's ashes under her stairs. It took her a while to complete and it gave her a lot of comfort and resolution doing that. I think I've done something different each time I've lost a dog as they were all very different characters and circumstances.

She is such a pretty girl, thanks for posting her photos.  Just do what you can to get through each day make your self sleep, eat, and breath. That may be the best you can do for now, but at some point you will be able to think of her and smile.  Sending you lots of hugs.

I am so sorry to hear of Dotty's passing. She was a beautiful girl, and I know you miss her terribly. Although it doesn't seem possible now, The pain will pass and you will find yourself remembering her with love and laughter for the joy she brought to you, even for her short time in your life. They are never with us long enough, no matter what the years number.
