We have made peace with the cat
« on: May 12, 2005, 10:36:48 am »
Okay, we have finally decided that the cat is quite cool, or was it that last jab from her left paw that made him make his mind up lol.....

They have been so so the whole time, but every chance Galahad gets he is trying to chase her, she is slapping him and he gives her a break for a few min's. But it is getting better and better, we are training "leave  it" and he seems to get it (at least when he is in the "I am a good boy" mood). But it is a giant step for both of them to be able to relax and sleep right next to eachother.

Congradulation s on the Peace Treaty! We're still in the negotiation stages with our two boys and the two cats. Apollo doesn't seem to bother them much, but Zeus loves to "play" The cats...hmmmm.. ..not so much!

Congrats again, you bring hope to the rest of us!

I know what you mean, that the cats never seem quite as excited to play as the dogs lol.... Good luck and I am sure you will post a pic like this in not long. Please let us know how it is going.

Oh the sweetest thing in the world is watching Finn play with our "special" cat Chicken. She's a very small cat and loves to play chase and tag with Finn. He is very careful with her too (like he knows she's not a normal healthy cat).
Glad to hear your babies are getting along!

Thanks, yes it does make the every day situation easier to deal with when your babies are getting along. Now I have to try to make my twolegged kids do the same lol.... That task will probably be way harder to deal with though.

Thats great to hear.  It took my Dobe some convincing that a 17 yr.old cat does NOT want to play tag.....lol.  All I can say is that a senior cat is no match for a 90lbs Dobe.

Again, I needed to read that this morning!!!  We are still working on a peace treaty between Ranger and Tigger.  I'm glad to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel!  Marit, you have given me hope!!!!

Great to here everyone is starting to get along. I see the cat still has his eyes open JUST A BIt. LOL!! 8)
Judge still tries to chase my cats around. The older cat just stays away. The younger one has more patients and will finally come in from outside even with Judge at the door.

And Karen lol..... you are so right, I didnt think about that until you said it, that Trouble has her eyes a little open, I checked some other pics and found one where she has them closed, note how she is a bit furtherer away from him on that one though lol.....
